Yesterday we drove to Stoke on Trent and went through the Wedgwood factory. FAscinating to see just how much is still done by hand. Their famous Jasper ware is all done by hand. I don't know how the people in the factory can do the same repetitious jobs hour after hour, day after day all year round. And how their hands can stay still to do the handpainting is also incredible.
It is lovely watching spring come. Every day there are a few more flowers out and another tree has leaves or blossom. A new experience for us Aussies to see such a dramatic change.
Off to Ireland on Monday. Not sure when I will be able to find another computer so until then, keep safe.
