This morning we took an early flight up to Sydney, and were there by midday. Our first trip was a walk through the city to Circular Quay, for Moniques first sighting of the Opera House. It was a great day for doing this, as it was Australia day, so there was lots going on. On the way back from circular Quay we came across Motorfest, which was lots of classic cars parked along the street for viewing.

In the evening we headed down to Darling Harbour to see the Australia Day fireworks. We stopped first in a very busy Chinatown for dinner. When we got to Darling Harbour it was already really crowded and there was a bit of a wait for the fireworks to start, but the atmosphere was great. The fireworks were amazing, and the choreography with the music was really good.
