This morning we drove down to the Berry Springs Nature reserve, for a quick dip in the hot springs. We then headed half a Km down the road to the Territory Wildlife Park. The Park was good, but it was blazing hot outside and there was a lot of walking around. There is a free bus that drives around, and you should only wait about 15-20 mins for it to take you to the next stop. There were shaded bus shelters but it was too hot to be sitting around for 15 minutes, so we walked for most of it! The Park had a big kangaroo enclosure, an aquarium with a 4ft Saltwater crocodile, lots of birds of prey , some water buffalo and a nocturnal house. We spend a good 4 hours there and then we drove back into Darwin, to check back into the hostel for the night, so we could return the car first thing in the morning.
