This morning we visited the Tower Hill State Game Reserve, just outside of Port Fairy. It was recommended that we drive through there, as there are lots of resident Kangaroos and Emus. We saw a big group of Roos, a pair of emus and lots of Rabbits running around.
We then drove onto the Grampians, which was a bit of a diversion, but we had time to do it and I really wanted to see them as this would probably be my only chance. When we reached the Grampians, we stopped at Silverband Falls, which is a long thin waterfall that you can walk right up to. We then drove onto the town of Halls Gap, for our picnic lunch, which was a lovely little town and much bigger than expected. We then stopped at the Boroka Lookout, which had great views,. Last stop was the Mackenzie falls. On our way out of the Park we saw lots of Kangaroos jumping around a field. We then drove back down towards Mt Gambier to camp for the night.
