The morning started out quite warm but deteriorated into another cool day requiring us to wear all the clothing we have to keep warm.  But, as usual, we continued enjoying the ride.
Sometime in the morning as we were riding along a car passing us indicated something was wrong on the back of the bike. We immediately stopped and realized a zipper on the trunk top bag was open. We think everything was still in the bag, but not totally sure. Several hours later in a Subway restaurant the gentleman who waved at us about the bag came up and asked if we had lost anything. What are the chances of ever meeting this gentleman?  Amazing.
We crossed into British Columbia and after less than one hour we reached our daily destination of Dawson Creek. We visited two sites commemorating mile zero of the Alaska Highway, one being what I call the tourist site, and one being for the serious traveller.
We have a great motel right on the Alaska Highway and had dinner at Rockwells Pub, a locally run establishment full of interesting characters.
