I was a very quiet day today.
It is 20 degrees Fahrenheit below the normal for this time of year. It is 53 degrees as opposed to 73 degrees. I rode for about one half hour and decided that the cold and the very high winds were things I chose not to battle.
I made a visit to the world's largest Harley Davidson dealer. It was huge, and full of the most number of bikes I have ever seen in a single dealership. They had a beautiful lounge and coffee shop for customers. The check in for service was like a check in at a fine hotel lobby.
I decided to go back to the Daytona Beach area to find a cheap, but clean place. I lucked out with the Travellers Inn for $35.00 and it includes free Wi-Fi. After unloading the bike and warming up, I headed for the beach.
The entrance fee for a car or motorcycle was $5.00 and was good for the whole day. It was a pleasurable experience, but sometimes a bit of "wallowing" occurred as the sand had drifted in places and the handlebars would be a bit of a struggle, but with "cat like reflexes" I was able to keep the bike from falling over (Wink, wink). By the photographs I have included there were very few people on the beach as it was very windy and very cool.
