Today was a day of visiting a couple of great places in Atlanta, 40 miles south of where my son lives. The first place we visited was the Georgia Aquarium which was amazing with several separate areas where it was possible to see many species of animals including Ocean River from many parts of the world.
We then went to the World of Coca Cola where we learnt about the marketing genius of the president of Coca Cola in the early days after buying the formula from Mr Pemberton. We had a tour of a small factory, the art display, the story of the "new coke" and how it failed, and then to the tasting area where it was possible to sample coke products from North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe. Some were extremely good and some not so. My favourite was one call Bibo from South Africa..
We then went for lunch at Taco Mac where there are 100 different beers on tap and over 210 flavours in bottles. I asked for the darkest beer they had and it was darker than a Guinness, my favourite. We had wings and chips and overall, too much food, but very good.
The bike is now all put back together, windshield reinstalled, saddlebags on, trunk installed and wiring completed and the GPS and XM radio are working well.
The forecast for tomorrow is there is a chance of snow! Yes, you heard me right. Snow in Georgia. So my departure on the bike is very tentative at this moment. I will decide in the morning.

Best wishes, John
Last night was our Gold Wing chapter Chili Night, and your trip was discussed at some length by the folks at my table. The good wishes of all go out to you. Incidentally, my 'South West Chili, With A Difference', won, putting me in a great humour in spite of the cold.
I will be monitoring your progress daily with tremendous interest, and wish you all the best. It would be grand if we could take an interesting ride somewhere together some day, as I believe we share similar interests and enthusiasms.
Good luck, John, and steer clear of the gremlins.
