Today was a day to run long and keep going north. I left Lexington Kentucky and drove on I75, a mist uninspiring highway, but it allows people to make great distances. I crossed over into Michigan, and then rode past Detroit to Port Huron Michigan where I crossed over the border into Ontario. I had a very pleasant welcome home from the customs lady and then it was a one ride to my Dad's retirement home in London where I spent the night.
My dad will be ninety three years old in a couple of weeks and is an amazing person. He is very interested in computers so we always spend some time together in the computer room introducing some new things to him. The meals are very good at his residence so I did eat well for supper.

Dads...
Hi John! Nice to see the picture showing your father and yourself together...
My own dad is 97 today! The generation born in the early nineties is somehow very special in my opinion... And what they lived through the past century (I mean not only wars but mainly great changes, amazing discoveries, etc.) will never be repeated in future!
I'm glad to hear that you are safely and happily back home. Love to you and Helen.
