Where I stayed
After Pai, I headed back down to Chiang Mai. Of course I stopped in at Libra Guesthouse again, but this was only going to be a quick visit as my time in Thailand is coming to an end.
I've spent most of the last 4 days here just relaxing and reading, getting a few last things done that I really wanted to do before leaving the country. I visited one more Sunday night market which is always fun and sampled even more of the delicious street food. So Good. The other thing of note I got up in the last few days was I booked some time at the shooting range. I went out there and got to fire an extremely powerful Smith & Wesson .45 caliber handgun. It was pretty fun, my aim was pretty terrible for the first 15 shots, but the last 15 shots I took, I slowed down and was fairly accurate. Overall it was a pretty fun activity, although somewhat pricey. I justified it by all the laying around and reading I had been doing the past week.
Other than that I have just been eating at some of my favorite places, having a few more massages (you can never get enough of those) and generally just trying to enjoy the last few days here.
Thursday afternoon I'm taking the overnight train back down to Bangkok for a few days there before leaving Thailand.
