We heard about the tornado in Mississippi yesterday so thought we'd put a quick post. We had plenty of rain and some relatively strong winds but everything is fine here. Most of the ugly weather that led to the Mississippi storm was west and north of us by quite a bit. There were some reasonable-sized waves on the south coast though and despite the red flags on the beach (warning people to stay out of the water) there were a couple of tourists playing in the waves.
We used the rainy day yesterday as a chance for a shopping fix so we should be able to avoid any more shopping for another 4 weeks or so (apparently we're not in agreement on this topic :-) ).
