What I did
Ciao!
This weeks post will be the shortest ever. Apparently even study abroad requires a little study. As a result of my attempt to study this weekend (read: get caught up on Grey's Anatomy), I didn't do too much.
Friday morning, however, I went and bought a new bag! We went to San Lorenzo, which is the big leather market. My big school bag was on it's last leg, so I bought a new one! It's leather and blue and beautiful and is my new best friend.
Sunday I went to the chestnut festival in Marradi, up in the mountains. I could not tell you which mountains, as I slept the whole way there. Although the festival was pretty small, there were so many chestnuts. I had roasted chestnuts first, and there were lots of those. Then I moved onto glazed chestnuts, and chestnut strudel. Then a chestnut flour crepe with ricotta and nutella. Finally I ended the day by sitting on a park bench whining and praying for the life of my stupidly tight pants... Needless to say, it was a beautiful day.
Stay tuned for next week's post all about how Mommy and Daddy Schindler take Florence by storm, and we all go to the chocolate festival in Perugia!
