Cramped and noisy. That would be the most accurate way to describe this leg of my travels. We chartered a Twin Otter to carry us from Baker Lake, Nunavut to Points North, Sask. Baker Lake was a paradise compared to Points North. Points North (heretofore referred to as PN) is not really a town per se, but more of a hub for mining and transoport to the north. An administrative building, hangar, and a few rundown trailers for residence. Apparently the washrooms are co-ed, as I discovered one day while taking a leak in the urinal. "Hi ladies" was all I could muster as they stepped into the showers behind me.
