A verdict was reached in a trial involving a shooting of an unarmed (black) man by a (white) BART Police officer. There had been threats of rioting on the BART system and my sister's office building was evacuated. (BART Officer's Lawyer's office is in the same building) needless to say, i will be dropping Rachel off at the Airport for her 10pm flight instead of her taking BART.

as for my flights, they were good. i had a burger in RIC that was served with an Olive ... i realized i think i only like olives that are soaked in gin... personal preference i suppose...
continental is not my favorite carrier but i did get to talk to the Brazilian guy next to me in Portuguese... it was a short conversation. :-P
watched a couple episodes of law and order on the plane and got my route planned out a good bit, makes me feel better. any way, ive got research todo, getting "provisions" tomorrow and figuring out a hostel to stay in friday night...
