So at around 6:00 am, I awoke to the sound of thunder and rain... no biggie, it's early on Collin's big day.  Collin is also awake so we go play in the den so mom can sleep in.  Dad is also awake so he joins us for a morning full of Noggin; if I can figure out his crazy TV/Cable/VCR (yes, he still has one of those)/DVD setup.  Storm is worsening with some pretty frightening winds and plenty of lighting and hail.  Hmm, didn't we just go through this in Columbus!?!?  Great!  Just so long as it clears up by 1:00pm for the cookout.  So now things are starting to fall off of trees and break things...this is not good;  Thud... something large hits the roof directly above the den, but no damage done, we'll check it out after the storm.  What's next, the power?  Of course; the power.  Yup, power goes out around 7:00am.  This is going to be an interesting day...

FFWD to 1:00... (still no power) I've showered in the dark with a mini-mag light, Marca has gone to lifetime fitness with her Columbus membership to shower while I watch Collin as he naps, Rachael (step sister) chooses to shower last but now all the hot water is either gone or is no longer hot so she enjoys a cold shower.  Uncle Dave shows up and informs us that there are a reported 93,000 homes without power in the western 'burbs; thanks for the great news, Dave :-)

1:30... Marca returns from Lifetime Fitness; and like she had the whole thing planed out, the power kicks on the moment she opens the door... god bless her :-p cook out goes off without a hitch; other than Collin having no idea what to do with the 30 new family members he just met, other than scream :-p  Lets call the event a success and move on eh,  what do you say?
