Where I stayed
At 10am, we took the now sleepy boodles to the beach for a wake-up plunge. We arrived to our favourite spot to be greeted by staff from the beach restaurant cleaning fish and discarding the unwanted bits into the sea - our cue to move on down the beach a bit.
John returned to the Bequia Beach Club during nap time to take some "after" photos of the honeymoon spot. Good candidate shots for a photo essay, title of which remains to be chosen. The overall mood is one of melancholy, as the last guests have clearly long left. I had a tour guide in the form of an eight year old local boy who was facinated with the digital camera
We wandered down the hill from Mockingbirds to see an impressive villa under construction. Selina tells us it is a rich American in the oil business. Nancy snapped a shot of the view. The trip down and up the hill drew attention to our less than peak physique, calling for many cool glasses of water and a dip with the kids in the pool to dry off.
Late afternoon we rounded up everyone and headed into town to the famous Mack's Pizzaria for snacks and to watch the afternoon sun set over the harbour.
With kids off in their respective cribs, Nancy and Matty left on thier date to the Gingerbread Hotel Restaurant.
