We left Hostel Vista Serena at 10 and caught the bus from Quepos half an hour later. It cost 900 colones each and took a little over 2 hours in a sardine-packed sweaty bus to arrive at Jaco. We were hot, sweaty, and dying of heat exhaustion, but the second we stepped off the bus our moods were brightened. Jaco is such a welcoming area. It was sunny and warm, had streets full of surf shops and little restaurants, and the smell of salt water and sand filled the air. We searched for a hostel and came across a fabulous one called Hotel de Haan. It's only 12.50 p/p per night, so we booked 3 nights. We headed out onto the streets at about 2pm, after unpacking and settling in. Our hostel has a pool, a kitchenette, free internet, and free coffee every morning!! How much better can it get?? Oh, well it is a 2 min walk from the beach too! We walked throughout the town, had a batido mesclado/mixto and a cup of cut up mangos with condensed milk and honey and it was absolutely amazing!! Our new favourite food! We went into a few shops and found a place where we can rent surfboards for $10 for the entire day! So that is the plan for tomorrow! We walked along the beach to finish up the day then came back to our great hostel for dinner and now we are going to go for a swim in the pool and just relax. Jaco is the coolest town we have visited yet. The beach is beautiful- it is in this bay and the waves are massive, but the sand is dark and muddy with loads of shells so it's not exactly the most fun to walk along. All things considered, Jaco rocks!!

Hola aventureros
Every new post tops the previous one. It seems that every place you go is better than anything you have seen before. Please don't go to deep in the sea. You don't know the area, locals are used to the place and know exactly how to survive. Tourist are the ones who have more risk of an accident. Pleeease don't go in the sea at night and respect the waves and the creatures that inhabit those waters.

No hayo las horas que regresen.

Take care, God bless and keep you.
