Hey guys,
long time since my last entry. Not much has happened with work, just that we haven't had a car this shift because we brought it in for repairs and they seized it because it was unsafe to drive. Apparently Canadian Tire in London replaced the bearing wrong in the front right tire and it stripped everything around it and messed up a lot of stuff. $1000 worth of repairs to be exact. Thankfully they agreed to fix it under warranty so we didn't have to pay for anything. On the bright side, we got to see the Edmonton Temple, so that was cool.
Sierra and I hopped a ride with a guy on our crew (Rob Smibert) in his mother of a truck. It's a one ton with crazy pimped out tires and everything (the speedometer is 12% off because of how big the tires are). Pretty awesome. Plus he had a radar detector so we drove pretty fast. We got pizza in Fort Mac when we got there and picked up another guy from our crew at the bus station so he didn't have to taxi back to camp. Overall, a fun time.
This week we haven't had much work to do since the scaffolders are behind again. Hopefully we'll have some scaffold by Wednesday but for now, Suncor is paying for us to stand around doing basically nothing. All we have to do tomorrow (in 10 hours) is pour 4 8 foot columns of concrete. That takes about 45minutes per column, just so you know. Sierra and I spent an hour today picking coke, tar and pyrocrete out of the sewer grates in the floor of Coker Alley where we work. REALLY boring.
Other than that, not really an eventful time. Our last break was spent basically hanging around with no car and watching movies like Disturbia, the Simpsons and The Condemned. Oh, and just for you guys, I've included pictures of what Sierra and I come home looking like after a day of work. These were taken on a CLEAN day. You should see us on a DIRTY day.
We're heading home this Thursday and driving straight through to London where Sierra's dad is picking us up and driving us to Ottawa. I should make it home for church on Sunday, so that's cool. I've also decided that I'm taking a year off from school so I'll be coming back out here for the 11th with my car and stuff so I'll be here until the end of October. That should be fun. Anyhow, I'll be seeing most of you soon. That's all for now, see you soon!

Hey Jessica - are you giving your scholarship???
ooooops!
I meant - are you giving UP your scholarship - missed a word there!
No!
I'm giving up my scholarship because I'm planning on changing schools. I have to make my mind up, but yeah.
