Monkey Mia is a resort famous for its dolphins. Since the early 70's people have been 'interacting’ with the dolphins in the bay and in the shallows by the beach.  Read ‘feeding’ for interacting.  It’s a wonderful thing to be up close and personal with wild dolphins – these dolphins choose to come for the fish.  There are only about 5 of them which are actually But research has shown that the hand fed dolphins young are not as successful as those which are not part of the programme so there are strict rules on how often and how much each dolphin is fed.

Here are some of our interactions with the wildlife - a photo blog with our comments.

Wow - you'll be setting up in competition with Attenborough with all this wildlife expertise! Love the emu family. Good to hear your news back here in Blighty.xx
