The main purpose of this trip was to bring school supplies, money and pen pal letters to a school just south of Guayaquil. 200+ children (K-6) share a one room school house with little supplies or space. We are greatful for your contributions and look forward to seeing all of the money and resources at work.
Most of all, I am personally hopeful that all of the letter writing efforts will lead to a successful letter exchange program between Santa Martha and Surrey/White Rock. Thanks to all of the students, teachers, principals, schools and parents that participated in this little venture! Your 200+ letters will arrive at the school on Tuesday, May 17th. joyce
