We were able to catch the second half of the Super Bowl when we got to the Marriott here in Cleveland.  We would have been able to watch the whole game but we had an emergency to handle.  Jackie realized that there was a CiCi's Pizzeria here on the lake, and after watching their commercials for 5 years (with no locations in New York) she proclaimed it an opportunity that she could not pass up,  How could I deny my first born the chance at the famed pizza buffet, and unlimited salad bar?

Back to the music.  Its 7:00 a.m. and 12 degrees.  After some morning java we take a short drive to the Cleveland Institute of Music which is located on University Circle about 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland.  I am immediately impressed by the location of the Institute on this incredible circle of culture and learning.  which includes Case Western University, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, the Cleveland Museum of Art,  the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall, and so much more.  Check it out at http://www.universitycircle.org/.

The Conservatory itself was an impressive modern building.  The staff informative and courteous.  Jackie's testing and audition went well and we had a great day.  She was very impressed with Franklin Cohen who is the  principal Clarinetist with the Cleveland Orchestra, and conducted her audition.  We left for home very impressed with school and on a real high note (Get it Jackie, high note, I made a music joke)
