Deep Creek Lake Campground

Stopped within 3 hours of Baltimore, my departure city, and slept on a campground last night. The elevation was just a little over 2,000 feet so I was surprised that the temperature got down to the mid 40's. Fire is a great thing!

My dad was worried about there being too much noise that would keep me from sleeping (since I need to be getting good rest before a long flight and a battle with jet lag). It was SO quiet it was almost eerie!

I'm a day ahead of schedule, so I'll drop down to the capitol for a day of exploration and history!
