After our adventure tours in La Fortuna and Monteverde, it was time for my mom to head back home and for me to meet my ride for interning at Rainsong. We got a bus to Alajuela and stayed at the Alajuela Backpackers Hostel overnight (super fancy, looked ritzy but very cheap price!) and then got a taxi the next morning to San Jose airport where mom was dropped off and I met my ride. Time to fend for myself!
