So as a requirement for graduating from college, I need to complete at least one internship and was accepted to intern/volunteer with Rainsong Wildlife Sanctuary in Costa Rica. I decided the week before I had to intern would be a great week to take my mom on a much needed vacation!

We flew into San Jose Juan SantaMaria International Airport, Costa Rica and our driver from Casa Yoses Hostel was not there to pick us up, like originally planned. No prob though, the airport staff were extremely friendly! They called Casa Yoses and when that driver was stuck in traffic, an airport staff offered to take us there himself since he knew the area. He became our taxi and we rode through the busy city to our hostel.

Once at Casa Yoses we received an extremely apologetic response about our ride and then we were shown to our room. The hostel was Awesome! Really artsy and hip, vibrant and energetic. There were free salsa lessons going on in one room and we passed an outdoor enclosed patio and a neat living room area with some crazy lampshades and lights. The atmosphere of this hostel was fun and lively and young. It had a collection of pictures from past hostelers in different parts of the world, each holding a sign that said "Casa Yoses *insert number of* km this way" with arrows. Hammocks were outside the hostel in the sunshine surrounded by funky statues.
