Charlie was disappointed that he couldn't go in and see the Buffalo Bill Museum, but I  found a parking spot in deep shade with a tree full of birds he could listen to.  Hopefully he was entertained.  He was sitting in my seat watching out the window for me when I returned.

Julie was right..  This is an awesome, not to be missed museum.  It has 3 big wings and wonderful collections of western art, sculpture, furniture, wagons, clothing, weapons, an Indian wing and great photos and reproductions of rooms in BBill's home.

Charlie and I sat on the porch at "Dirty Annie's" and ate lunch and made many photo stops before heading into the jBig Horn nat'l Forest.

I thought BigHorn Nat'l forest was a misnomer as we saw Grand Canyon like gorges and mountains but no forests.  We passed a creek strangely named Prune Creek and many signs saying the steep rock walls were "pre-cambrian granite, 2.5 billion years old".  Impressive.  Then we ran  into forest where they were cutting through a new highway.  A "golf cart" led us through the rest of the forest at about 3 miles an hour.  When I finally was able to hit 40 mph, I felt like I was flying.

Tonight Charlie and I are lounging at a Motel Six and soon to go explore this old town of 3900 residents.
