I went for a nice walk today through a park in Maastricht, it was a rainy and cold (of course, when isn't it) but aside from the dismal weather it was a very nice day. I came upon a small children's zoo in the middle of the park with goats and deer (but not deer like back home) They looked like reindeer! The path through the park ran alongside of a small canal which was filled with ducks of every breed. It was very pretty. After the park I headed back towards the center, and came upon the Natural History Museaum. I figured I would give it a try. A good place to warm up but I guess I do not find rocks and stuffed animals particularly interesting, especially when the descriptions are written in Dutch, so I have no idea exactly what I am looking at. But now I can say that I have visited the Natural History Museaum in Maastricht! Life is good here, I am having a great time though I have two wishes...that the damn sun would shine and that I could have all of you here to share it with me!
