The majority of our time in Indiana was driving in the car. By night time we made it to Michigan City. We got lost trying to find our campground, Indiana Dunes..follow the GPS or the signs? We arrived, only to find that it was full, and that there was no attendant..it was a lesson learned. We pulled out the GPS and found a hotel nearby. There was a Wal-Mart conveniently across the street, so we went there the next morning until the rain passed. After packing up The Winnie we drove to the state park to sit on the beach along Lake Michigan. Then we made our way an hour down the road to Chicago!
