Another late start due to the very late night for the children - they need to catch up with their sleep somehow!

Breakfast once again was by the pool, unfortunately we didn't have such good service as yesterday.  The chap we had yesterday was great, but the lady we had today didn't seem as though she wanted to be there and was argumentative - what ever happened to 'the customer is always right?'  Orders ended up being slightly wrong - she tried to feed me Cornbeef Hash - I hated the stuff when I ate meat so there was no chance!  Never mind...........

The pool was enjoyable again - our children are definately growing gills!  Who would have thought that Jeff and I would enjoy spending so much time at the pool??  While the children were playing we skyped Mum's and Dad's, which was interesting as the sunshine made the picture so bright, we ended up sitting with towels over our heads so that we could be seen.  We got lots of strange sares as it really looked like we were talking to ourselves as the towels covered the laptop!  We also searched and booked our next lot of accomodation .  The hotel we had spent the last couple of nights at was fantastic, but was on a limb.  Seeing as though we had explored this part of the coast and the nearest town was not the nicest we decided to move down to Waikiki and use that as a base for the rest of the island - a completely different experience, but would save us driving time and would give us shopping time :-)

By mid afternoon we had managed to get the children out of the pool and headed off in the direction of Waikiki.  We found our hotel without any problems - I'm getting much better at reading a map!!  A complete contrast to the previous hotel, but everything close by.

After checking in we walked over to Ala Moana Shopping Centre for a spot of retail therapy.  We ended up in yet another Lego shop - the third since this trip began!  I also ended up picking up some stuff in the Gap sale and Jeff bought an Abercrombie and Fitch T-shirt.  We spent so much time in the shops that we left very little time to eat - so our choice was limited!!!

We finally got back to our room after 10pm........our poor children need some routine back in their lives!
