After a very quick flight three hour flight to Reykjavik and a taxi ride into the city centre we were at our hotel.  It was a nice hotel too so we booked it again for the last night of our trip.

We had a gentle wander around the main shopping area which was just outside of our hotel.  A very surreal experience, the place seemed very small and the houses, such a range of styles, some made of wood, but many made of multicoloured metal sheeting.

The children had a ball looking in some of the shops - Lucy once again was on the soft toy hunt!

Eventuall hungry tums won and we had dinner in a lovely little restaurant on the main street near our hotel. 

Then an early night ready for the start of the trip in the morning.
