I can't believe that it is actually happening - we have been talking about it for such a long time and now it is happening it feels like a dream. I'd better snap out of it though - so much to do and very little time.
The children seem very happy about the whole affair - in fact I think for Lucy it is a relief, after many months of waiting. She can't wait for an adventure of a lifetime. Dan also seems very happy and remains remarkably chilled about the whole affair.
Better get going with sorting packers and then arranging this holiday of a life time we have planned.
