Where I stayed
Woke up feeling refreshed, and ready to see the city, I am lucky to have the mini bus tour to myself and get lots of attention and more time to see everything, we start off going into the city and the traffic is building, but soon we get into the country side and visit a leather company and silk shop, they do try to get you to buy but thankfully not over pushy the silk company is incredible but dont have what I wanted, a hand painted silk shirt a design called Batik prints.
Also go to a pewter shop as they produce a huge amount on tin here but it not really my thing.
On the last stop we go to the Batu Caves and there is a huge Golden Buddha and 365 steps upto the top where the caves are, a cavernous area with shrines and gods with people worshiping there god.
Even though I'm not very religious it is nice to see the believers, perhaps I'm a little jealous of their faith?
The driver a Chinese guy called Jackie Chan ( yes thats right! ) is a great guide and loves his job he makes the whole day and we have a good laugh and talk non stop.
Tonight I am going to have a curry in little India and hopefully don't suffer any consequencies....
