Today we went to San Diego Zoo. It was so cool, there were so many animals there, and the zoo itself was just so massive we couldn't believe it. Our favourites were the hippos and the orang-utans and we also went to a show where we saw a snow leopard and an arctic wolf (who howled with us) and also a really cool little black animal who smelt of popcorn and walked slowly like a tortoise!
In the afternoon we went to San Diego Old Town, it was really old for America (about 200 years). It was like going back in time, it was just like the town in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers! We had a classic american burger in a place called O'Hungrys - it was delicious!
Spent the evening back at the campsite playing cards with everyone after we had cooked dinner!
