completely soaked from the morning dew. On the upside, the sun was out
in full swing this morning, which was much, much appreciated after a
chilly cold night.
Today, we would run into Sturgis for a little sightseeing and to buy
some clearanced Sturgis Rally clothing. It was warming up nicely today,
and by late morning it was comfortable without a jacket. After lunch
and a quick stroll around the business sector, we headed back over to
Deadwood to catch up with a tour bus that we had booked the night
before. This was a brief tour of the Deadwood downtown area and through
Mt. Mariah Cemetery where famous Deadwood characters are buried.
Overall, it was an interesting tour with lots of information about Wild
Bill and the gang.
After the tour, we just worked our way over to the campground to relax and to talk motorcycles once again.
Tomorrow will be "head home" day. It's been great riding in the Black
Hills with the NGW club guys. Made lots of new friends and had a great
time.
