Day two. Morning has come and the sun is shining. Not a bad start. The kids and I are excited because we are going to go to the Park today and ride some rides. We made sure they had their bathing suits because Hershey has the best water park anywhere in the world.
So with the 4 kids in tow and two vehicle we set off for a two week vacation. It is August. It is cloudy. this is not the way you should start a campiong adventure. We pulled into Hershey Park, PA camp grounds and set up the tent. Now the kids had never set up a tent before. So guess who got that task? Yep, me. Anyway we set camp and started dinner. The kids took off to tour the the camp grounds. Christine took my camera and she and the boys had a great time by the river. I on the other hand still could not get the fire going and Chris was busy with the dinner part. Lucky for all involved that she had a coleman stove. If eating was directly related to my ability to start a fire we would have never eaten. My 15 year old can start a fire using wet matches against wet paper. I have gas and still cannot do it. Oh well...
