Well we did almost another 500 mile day.  When we left Iowa we thought it was only about a 1,000 miles to home but it was much further.

Not a whole lot happened today, just rode and rode and rode!  Saw lots of farms and corn fields.

We did go through Indy and saw the Colts Stadium and Race track!  We pulled off the highway just before going into Indy, and hurried up to get back on the bike since it did not look to safe.

We were trying to make it to Wheeling, WVA since Tim Reid said if we could make it there by days end we would only have about 250 miles the next day to home, but we could not do it.

We got off the road by 5:00 and had a little bit of a melt down (oh, not me Vic).  He was very tired and at this point he wants to get off the bike.  We had some trouble finding the hotel, the town was hilly and we started yelling at each other, then HE calmed down, said he was sorry and we found the hotel and all was well for another day :)

Not much to do in Zanesville, and we were not getting back on that bike to go anywhere except home, so we showered and walked to the local "Olive Garden".  Well for those of you that do not know Vic well, this is not a place he likes to go, but he said I will just get something without all that cheese on it.

So the waitress first ask what we wanted to drink and Vic asks "do you have any local beers"?  She said yes we do, Budweiser and Miller Lite", and I said do you have any Micro Brewers and she said yes we gave Ultra.  So it was all we could do from cracking up, so he just got a Sam Adams and started to look for what he could eat, so when she came back he asked if they had "Veal" and she said, "what is that".  So now you know not to stay in Zanesville, OH.

We are going to get on the road by 6:00 am and head for home.  I will have something to look forward to tomorrow.  Hope to be home by 1:00!

Talk with everyone soon!

Vic and Jo
