Went on a boat tour today to the island of Capri, famed for its Roman inhabitant, Emporer Tiberius, and also many modern famous people (including Naomi Campbell, Mariah Carey and many more).

Had a lovely trip over on a little boat, then went up the ski lift to the peak of the cliffs for some gorgeous views. Rode back down the hill in a convertible taxi!!! Oh yeah, this is the life. Then got back on the boat, swam in some beautiful grottos, including one where we had to dive under 3 metres of rock before coming back up. Then we headed to the blue grotto, similar to the one I visited in Croatia. But with this one, we waited until the officials had left and swam through it. It was stunningly beautiful, swimming in the most azure blue water ever. But then my worst fear came and got me. Literally. I got stung by jellyfish, the awful horrible creatures that they are. I freaked out, not because of the pain, but because I hate them so much.

Oh well. Got back on the boat for the trip home and am now planning to go out for dinner with people from the hostel. Then going to journey down to Amalfi tomorrow.
