We left Melbourne what seems an age ago to go fruit picking. On the way we decided to stay in a small country town for some R and R before the dreaded work began. Echuca is situated on the Murrey river in Victoria and is home to the largest collection of paddlesteamers in Australia. The port is made from Timber and is now used just for tourists.
The YHA was perfect. It was a little cottage behind a B&B and we were lucky enough to be sharing it with just one other person for four nights. We had a double room with a TV, the atmosphere made it feel like home. A perfect 4 days of chilling out and not doing much.
