It is less than an hour to Charlottetown, and once I start getting close it turns into any other typical urban area with traffic, big box stores and idiot drivers. There's still a small town vibe, though, which is nice.  Trying to find the route through the city to the Hillsborough Bridge across the bay, I get lost and miss my turn so I pull off and try and figure out what is going on.  My cell phone isn't working so I can't look at the map so after watching the traffic flow for awhile I make a guestimate as to which way is the city center and head that way.  I figure once I am downtown I will see signs for either the ferry or for Canada #1 that I can follow.

Charlottetown turns out to be a really cool place.  The history is deep there, with old, tiny houses on very tiny streets that don't have sidewalks to speak of.  Lots of people walking around because it is lunch time and the sun has decided to make an appearance.  I use my sense of direction to meander through the back neighborhoods and streets of the city until I see a main drag that has a #1 sign on it which is what I need.

Riding towards the bridge, I spot a cruise ship parked in the harbor.  Too cool...who would have expected a cruise ship up here?  Not me!  I swing down, park and grab a quick picture, then keep going for the Wood Islands ferry.  I can't miss it!
