We stayed with our friends Paul and Neil, who showed us around what is quite a large city. I had expected London to be a small to medium size town, but it is in fact a city of 350,000 people. There is a large CBD with more that a dozen high rise office building and many residential towers; it then spreads to a sizable suburban area.
We went to a park just near the city centre and walked along the river and over a bridge that takes you to the golf course. As you can see by the photos the park is quite large and very pretty.
This was a very relaxing part of our journey - less touristing more relaxing. We needed the break, thanks Paul and Neil.
