Finally, after saying our goodbyes, we left at 1000 for a trip that was to take us across America and to New York for our return flight home.

We went North on route 101 and 1.

At Pismo Beach we rented bikes and rode along the beach. The bikes kept stalling and getting stuck in the sand, but it was great fun and very enjoyable.
That night we slept on the top of the cliff nearby.
