On the way from Tucson, Arizona to Las Cruces, New Mexico, I came across this funky place. It was in the middle of BFE in a little place called Dragoon, Arizona. I guess you have to think of something creative to get those cars off the highway and into your gas station. Well I was hooked after I saw the first sign, and I didn't even need any gas!
The shop was a mini museaum filled with old western equipment, wagons, pistols, odd sculptures along with this bizarre display of midievel torture, and of coarse "The Thing".
Now what the heck is "The Thing"? Well as far as I can tell, it is either a mummified Indian or a faked (albeit old) carny prop such as the famous frozen ape man, or sea monkey skeleton, or two headed calf. Of coarse, it could be also be an alien mummy from outer space! (queue Twilight Zone theme) ; )
Anyway, it was worth the $1 admission price and the Dairy Queen Banana Split Blizard I got.
The adventure continues...

i dont know who would bring a child into this if they knew the twisted sort of thing this junk trail is , i find it to have a dark sadistic side to it and some thing unsettling about some one whom would showcase natzi and pain items and torture statues and articles in a remote location in the middle of the desert this is not for children or adult entertainment for that matter i am shocked that dairy queen would allow some thing of that ugly nature to be associated with the franchise
