Where I stayed
Parents Guest Room
Well, after a long drive from Moab I arrived in Sun City, Arizona (Phoenix area). My parents, Jack and Denise Randall relocated from California about 10 years ago to be with family and take advantage of the affordable living.
My brother Eric Randall and his girlfriend Kathy Wallace live in Phoenix.
My sister Allison Randall, her boyfriend Don and son Jake live in Peoria (Phoenix area). They recently relocated from the S.F. Bay area, now all I have is my brother Ryan and his wife Kim to keep me company back home. : (
My cousin Kyle and his family also live in the area (Dina's brother) but I didn't visit with them this trip.
I planned to spend a couple days to hang out with the family and veg out but my slave driving parents immediately put me to work fixing up the house and driving them all around town! jk ; ) I really just wanted to spend some time with them and will also visit on the return trip, so stay tuned for a Phoenix part 2.
The weather finally caught up to me and it rained for several days, but that didn't stop me from bugging my brother to help change the fuel filter on the van! Eric (a.k.a Chris) is a wiz with the wrench. Of coarse the filter was in the most excruciatingly difficult spot under the van to reach but he "got her done". Thanks bro'!

Confused...
Who's that old guy with the white hair? No not dad, the other guy with white hair... WHAT? Chris? Shoot with as much wrenching as he's done on V-dubs, he should've been able to replace that filter in like half a second.
Looks like fun JQ.

Why the sad face? What are we, chopped liver? LOL. Can't wait to see you when you get back. Looks like you're having a blast! Get some beads at Mardi Gras...hehe.
