Where I stayed
I'll do a double entry tonight cos I couldn't get internet access for a while. Today we got up and caught the bus straight to the Rome train station. We bought tickets to Perugia in Umbria. It is a medieval town built into the side of a hill and so beatuiful that the few photos I took don't do it justice. You can just imagine the Romans marching through the streets. We had tea at a place called Il Padrino (the Godfather) and ended up costing 50 euro (about 80 bucks!).
Neill had been giving me shit about being too organised, I believe the phrase '... you're worse than a woman...' was used. I kept telling him it was necessary to keep everything together and now it has paid off because I have a camera and Neill doesn't. He left his camera on the train to Perugia so he lost all of his photos from Rome and his camera which was only a week old. Mamma mia. Then he lost the key to the backpackers hostel!
Highlight: Springer spaniel in the main piazza of Perugia but didn't have my camera :)
