Got back a few days ago from Italy. 2 days in Rome, 1 day in Oriveto, and 1 day in Venice. It was pretty incredible, Venice was a lot nicer than I remembered, the water was cleaner, and the bed and breakfast was fanatastic! It was in a less touristy part of town, so we got to see how Venetians live their daily lives, away from the trolley carts full of masks and touristy crap. Here are some pics!

The view from the top of St. Peters Basilica, 551 steps up!

The Forum

"Gusto," one of Food Network chef Giada De Laurentiis' favorite restaurants in Rome. We spent 95€ there for dinner! But totally worth it. The food was incredible.

I've been to a lot of places in Italy already, Montepulciano, Assisi, Verona, Lucca, Florence, Pisa... but I still want to visit Pompeii, Siena, and the Cinque Terre. But that can wait, so many places in Europe to go to first! If you're up for some fun, come along!

In other news, my brother just left today, so now it's time to STUDY STUDY STUDY. Arg.
