We eventually left Hoi An and the Tailors behind and headed down the coast to Nha Trang. We had been warned that this was the booze capital of Vietnam. When we arrived after a long and tiring nights bus journey to find that it was raining even heavier than it had in Hue, we decided to skip the place and literally jumped off one bus onto the next and headed inland to Dalat, another 6-10 hours on the bus.
On arrival we where faced with a slightly grubby and jaded hotel but were too tired to do much about it. Next day we looked around and found better rooms but on return got a half decent room where we were for 2.50 pounds per night, so we stayed.
Dalat turned out to be a great place, the honeymoon capital of Vietnam. We relaxed here and then found our Easy Riders for our 4 day 3night trip to Saigon.
