The last stop in our trip (well, technically...  John added another couple days to visit his friends from B-School in Tokyo). Fulfilling a promise John made a few years ago, we went back to the Oga Peninsula in Northern Japan. A beautiful area of dramatic ocean views and sleepy fishing villages, Oga was where John proposed before we left Japan.

We went back to visit the same rock we were sitting on when John proposed, and stayed at the same hotel. It was a wonderful capstone to an incredible vacation. Hopefully, we won't have to wait another 5 years for our 10th anniversary for another vacation like this! We're already talking about doing the grand tour of South America:  Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Argentina...
