Word on the grapevine was that Frankfurt was beautiful. Nicknamed "Mainhattan," it's Germany's town of skyscrapers and high rises. I met an Aussie in Berlin who told me that it was a huge waste of time. Damn was he right and I was only there for about 36 hours (approximately 16 of which I was sleeping).
Due to last minute booking I found myself in one of those "hospital-hostels." Super clean with 10 million beds and everyone seems to be more interested in getting the hell out then having a good time. To top it off, I managed to share a room with a bunch of ridiculously inconsiderate monkeys.
On the bright side, all the museums were in German, so I decided to pass the day wandering among the buildings. Took maybe six hours. Probably should have gone out, but I'm saving myself for Munich! (and my feet kill).
ASIDE: I have also changed my opinion of Germans regarding the law. It must just be Berliners that are so cautious. Definitely not the case in Frankfurt.
