It should have 'clicked' that Sweden was probably going to be a change from London when I got off the plane and joined the file of people being herded into a barn with chicken wire overhead - guess it keeps people from sneaking in over the top (they probably needed some on each side of the barn as well - I'm pretty sure I could have walked around). "Customs" was a plywood box with two windows where two large ladies (blond, but not beautiful) stamped my passport and waved to the back of the barn where I had to fish my bag from a trailer cart attached to a tractor (or something resembling one). Obviously there was no ATM at this airport. I think the place could have done with a little Ikea redecorating, but maybe they're saving up for more chicken wire.

Gothenburg, itself was not the most beautiful city I've seen. However, within close proximity you're able to find yourself a nice little island, a sandy beach, or a boarded off area where you can freely drop trow and frolic with others of similar gender. I must say, there's really only so much white, bare, old-man ass I need to see on any given day, and I filled up my quota for the next 10 years (all this despite only spending time on the sandy beach).

Obviously I stayed with Jasmin here, so can't really complain - everyday was a hella good time. Also, everyday was warm and beautiful. Besides things seeming to close too early and their screwed up liquor system, the Swedes throw a pretty good party (at least Chalmers does). I did leave some things unfinished - mainly using the train tunnel as a shortcut - so I guess I'll have to go back for one reason or another. She knows ;).
