Mother Nature outdid herself in Bryce Canyon.  What a splendid display of her artwork.  One fantastic statuesque carving after another.  Splashes of color from white to orange with pinks, mauve's, peaches, coral.  Add the snow that was at least four feet deep up top and the various pines and cedar trees with the blue sky and white floating clouds and you have a filling feast for your visual appetite.  You just can't take it all in.  There is too much to look at.  Kind of like, "Where's Waldo."  There's the big picture, which is really big, and then there is every level of magnification.  So many big and little details to try to look at.  Wonderful!

All of the campgrounds and most of the hiking trails are still closed, due to snow.  There are so many trails to hike.  I can't imagine getting down to the bottom and trying to get back out.  But for those of you who are in good physical condition, it would be a memorable experience.  It would be a giant step back in time.

John and I were so glad to be in our RV.  It was easy to get around the park in and provided us with great views of everything.  We had lunch in one of the windiest sights and were warm and comfortable.  We did a lot of stopping and walking to all of the viewpoints.  It was a great time.  However, my eyes are sore from all the wind.  And if you know me, you know tears flow down my cheeks from the slightest breeze.  I used a box of tissues up there.  Worth it!

It's going to be cold and windy here tonight.  We'll cuddle in our little home and be happy.  Of course, John has the satellite hooked up, so he can stay up to date with Fox News.  Tomorrow we are on our way to Zion National Park.  It is about 90 miles away.  We'll be staying at a park campsite, so no Internet for two nights.  I'll have to update later.

Hope you are enjoying this day as much as we are.
