Waking to a beautiful morning we headed for the Monkey Mia area and Francois Peron NP. After another grueling 5 hour drive of nothing but salt bush and scrub we made it to the old sheep station at the entrance to the NP,let our Tyre's down, knocked it into 4WD and went for it. The track was soft red sand and enough room for one car only which made passing interesting.

One hour later we reached South Gregories camp ground parked up and jumped out only to be greeted by every fly in WA............every single fly known to man !!! Thinking they would leave us alone if we went for a swim but no they even hassled us in the water but on the bright side before we jumped in we saw some fins close to the beach we were at and thought we should make sure they were friendly fins...they were dolphins catching fish !! Phew !

Because of the trek to get to the campsite we decided to stay the night despite the flies thinking that it couldn't get any worse...How wrong we were !!! when the sun went down the flies thined out to just a few billion and the mozzys thought they might try to suck us dry !! Every single mozzy in WA AAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH F#%K OFF YOU ANNOYING LITTLE BASTARDS !!!! was heard across the NP !!! The old Pea Beu was used frequently !!HA HA DIE YOU FILTH DIE !! was also heard ! After all this fun we only stayed the one night out of the expected 5 !

Slightly disapointed !!
