We finally arrived in Guam at 2:15 a.m. Sunday (12:15 p.m. Saturday EST). It was great whisking through customs as US citizens and not having to wait in line with 200+ Japanese tourists. We made it through to baggage claim in record time, only to be greeted by an apologetic Japan Airlines employee who informed me that one of our bags was still IN DALLAS!!! Thank you American Air and Japan Airlines. Of course the 1 bag out of the 4 checked that got left behind was MINE!!!

Hi Joelle
It's so good to hear you made it safely to Guam! I prayed for you. I've enjoyed reading about your trip. Keep the reports coming. I know you are going to have the time of your life. Sounds like a different world. I'm so glad your husband went with you, though. Everything is fine here in Monroe. Miss you.

Hi Joelle,
What have you done about your luggage? Has it shown up yet? I would be so upset if my bag had been left behind!! Hopefully, you had a carry-on with you.

Gotta love traveling!
When they lose your luggage, you lose the 'exotic' nature of traveling!

Hi Joelle!
Just returned to work from being in Asheville NC five days for my step-daughter's wedding. It was fun but almost exhausted as you were on your flight to Guam. Hope your luggage arrived - The airline flew my wedding dress and Bruce's suit to Miami when I went to the Virgin Islands to get married! Thanks for the updates - it is neat to get to share your Guam experience. LouEllen
